A Trip to Cameron Highland
by Edwin T on Mar.06, 2009, under happenings, jalan-jalan and/or cari makan
This trip is an unexpected one and it came in all of a sudden. Thanks to Bin Hoo’s aunt for her warm invitation and great hospitality. I really had a great time there!
This was my second visit to Cameron Highland. Despite of sightseeing at some common tourist attraction sites, I did not really explore the place well during my first visit years back.
I found out that I love the place so much!
I’m just too lazy to write on the details since a picture tells a thousand words. Simply describing, this is a trip full with laughter, good food (it’s really GOOD!), beautiful sceneries, lots and lots of photos, a few new friends, and definitely, cozy and comfortable environment!
The view from Greenhill Resort balcony – The place where I spent my 3D2N.
Another angle of the resort.
Visited BOH’s Sungei Palas Tea Farm on the next morning. It was a pleasure of life to drink a cup of hot tea while enjoying the scenic view of tea farm!
At afternoon tea time, I tasted the best Devonshire tea in the whole Cameron Highland here!
The famous Devonshire tea in town and I love it to be served with fresh milk! *salivating*
Hot oven scone with cream and strawberry jam. I felt like an English gentleman every time I eat this.. Haha
I visited some flower gardens too. The flowers were blooming beautifully and I wished I could bring all of them home!
By the way, any botanist out there to tell me what flower is this? Is it a lily?
We dropped by Proton City in Tanjung Malim, Perak while we were on our way back to KL yesterday. It is a housing estate surrounded by greens and river with the backdrop of mountains!Great!
Not to forget sharing my one of my favourite shots from the trip. It is the flower of strawberry and I took this photo in the strawberry farm. Enjoy its fruit now! Huhu ~
