Watched a movie just now. It’s a Malay movie – Sepi. Emm.. I don’t know why I chose to watch it but my instinct told me it is worth giving a try.

Yup! The movie is GREAT!

This movie is directed by Kabir Bhatia (Who can tell me who he/she is?), the main theme is to portray the loneliness in seeking for true loves in Adam (Adflin Shauki), Sufi (Tony Eusof), and Imaan (Baizura Kahar). It’s really heart touching.

Although there are 3 stories, but the way script writers connects and linking these three are really amazing! You should have watch it on your own. Hard for me to describe in words thou’.

The songs and cinematography techniques used in the movie were nice too. Wondering could there be a soundtrack album for this movie later? Hopefully..

Hardly there is a Malay movie which can give me such a deep feeling and “Sepi” has made it, after “Sepet” by Yasmin Ahmad. Overall, this movie is SUPERB for local production and this probably the best Malay movie I’ve ever seen for the last 2 years.

SEPI: A must watch movie!

Bulan,

Jangan biar siang,

Biar alam ini kelam,

Sepi,

Seperti…Ku!
